Asian-African Comemoration Event

Let’s meet an Indonesia Big Event, Asian African Conference Commemoration.

In 19th April to 24 April 2015 was held a big event in Indonesia. This event was about commemoration of Asian African Conference that was held in 1955. This celebration of 60th years Asian African Conference was held in two city, Jakarta and Bandung. In Bandung, there are lots of thing that held by government to celebrate this event. Such as Art Festival, Making a World's Record for playing an Angklung by 20,000 peoples, and many more.

On Thursday, 23rd April 2015, I visited Siliwangi arena with my classmates. We were becoming participant of the World Record for playing Angklung by 20,000 peoples. It was crowded place. Many peoples come to this area. The participants were from music group, students, and also civil employer that gathered in that place. We were also watched by Minister of Tourism, West Java Governor, Bandung Mayor, and also the delegation from Asian African country.

Every people got one Angklung that had to be played. That music instrument can be brought home. So, I am so excited to have this one. This Angklung has a label, the label are name of Indonesia Islands. At the first, I was really blind for playing this instrument. But, after the conductor of this event explained how to play this one, I could a little bit understand about it. The conductor only moved his hand with some code or special move that refers to the specific label. Every combination of move, it will make a great sound of a song.

We were having one song for the record, “We are the world”. But, before we played it, we were exercising by playing Indonesia songs such as, “Ibu Pertiwi”, “Halo-Halo Bandung”, etc. I was really enjoy it, because it was my first time to play Angklung. This is also my new great experience.

My Favourite Place

Is Junudurrahmah, which became a place of worship as well hang citizens. The mosque is located in the complex of the Army Kodiklat this is often a choice of local people to worship. Especially during midday and afternoon prayers.

Several factors make this mosque is always crowded. First, the location is super positioned in the city center. Being in turn Jl. Aceh and Jl. Sumbawa, this mosque is in a very crowded place. Second, it has a large parking. As a consequence of its location in the city center, this mosque provides a large parking lot because most visitors use the car. Third, clean of litter. DKM provide at least two bins on either the third entrance to junk food and cigarette butts. And fourth, I believe is due, drinking facilities for free.

There is a dispenser that is equipped with a plastic cabinet. Coffee, milk, tea and sugar so the contents of the cabinet. The free dinner package is available at the three entrances of the mosque are: north, east and south. I could ask why not four, ah yes that's west location pulpit. I asked again where the money, ah yes visitors right on the drive.

Inside the mosque, there are two infokus directed to the permanent display. Both are used to display the power point Beautiful Names. Slides were wearing army camouflage design as well as several motion animation. A member of the military lead the chanting. Because of amazement, I forgot to photograph.

In addition to worship, the mosque is often used as a hangout. At that time, in the southern terrace, I saw two young men talking while smoking. On the eastern terrace of the most extensive and filled with a pole, I saw five youths do chores and three female members of TNI gossip. The north terrace, which also contained a direct path towards building Kodiklat, I see each other TNI members chatting, of course I also saw three elderly nap.

If you feel coffee is not enough, do not worry, there are four traders who sell around this mosque. Small kiosks selling cigarettes and drinks packaging is right under the tower. Coffè seller sells his wares from a car parked in front of the tower. In addition, the seller chuanki will serve in the parking area and on the sidewalk motorcycle Jl. Sumbawa there meatball sellers know. One of my message, do not find the coffee.

When I visited, this mosque are doing renovations to the second floor and minarets. On the east terrace there is a list of benefactors renovation. One contributor to provide funding of 25 million dollars and many others. At least, it ensures that the coffee at this mosque will still be up to five years

Every Breath You Take

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you

O can't you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches with every step you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

Since you've gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but it's you I can't replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep crying baby, baby please

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

Inspiring Quote

It’s easy to forget what an amazing gift life really is. Our lives are nothing but a cosmic blink. Even our seemingly all-encompassing world is just tiny blue dot circling an average sized star spiraling around a galaxy of 200-400 billion stars, which itself is just one galaxy among billions more. Yet for one brief moment, we get to experience the wonders of existence, of consciousness.

Having a positive outlook on life is a crucial part of finding inspiration. In the paragraph above, did you feel inspired reading about the vastness of our universe and our unique place within it, or did you feel overwhelmed and depressed at the insignificance of it all?
Our brains are wired to find things we’re looking for – if you’re always cynical or waiting for things to go wrong, then your life will reflect that. On the other hand, having a positive outlook on life will bring you joy and provide you with inspiration when you least expect it.
Of course, there are times when it’s difficult to feel cheery or positive – life can be difficult. If you’re having trouble seeing the cup as half full instead of half empty, reading some positive quotes about life can help you snap out of your funk. Here are some inspirational life quotes to help you see the amazing potential that life has to offer.
